Dame Helen Alexander to succeed John Botts as Chairman of UBM plc

UBM plc is pleased to announce that Dame Helen Alexander will join the Board as a non-executive director on 10 May 2012 and will succeed John Botts as Chairman following the Company’s Annual General Meeting which will be held on 11 May 2012. John Botts will retire from the Board at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting.
Biographical details for Dame Helen Alexander are included in the Notes to Editors below. There are no other matters relating to Dame Helen Alexander’s appointment requiring disclosure under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
Dame Helen Alexander said:

John Botts, retiring Chairman of UBM plc, said:
